Adam's sister Lisa is engaged! We are so excited for her, we threw them a luau themed engagement party. The weather was unbelievable according to Washington standards, low 80's!
You won't find me in any of these pictures, here's why:
I got up at 5 am to get started on the food so I left in my pajama's. I packed clothes, make-up and shower essentials knowing there would be time for that later... WRONG!! When we got to the church the 3 acre field wasn't mowed! Adam was on his own for most of it with just one mower which only made it about a quarter of a strip before he had to stop and empty out the bag! 4 hours later we called in for reinforcements and got two additional mowers out there. The field was done about 45 minutes before the 150+ guests were expected to arrive. Somehow we had to get up all the tables, chairs, food, drink station and pergola in that much time?!?!? Needless to say people started showing up and my main concern was giving them a place to sit, which trumped my shower and clean clothes! Sigh. I was a mess but the party was a success!
