Nick started swimming with KinderSwimmer last month and he's doing great! Classes are Monday and Wednesday mornings for a half hour and he has 2 other boys in class his age, Ben is just 3 days younger then Nick. They each take their turns doing Front Crawl, Back Crawl and Elementary Backstroke (Nick's favorite). Miss Gretchen then takes them down to the deep end for diving, a turn down the slide and finally "races", followed by 5 minutes of toy time.
My mother in law Bashawn was watching the kids for me and when I came to pick up the boys, they each had a new toy they had picked out. Nick picked a spider and Jake picked a sand filled, rubber rat! This was about a month ago and it didn't take long to find out that "Rat-Rat Relf" was going to become a member of the family. Jake packs Rat-Rat all over the house and I think it's so cute I often snap a picture of him dragging that thing around and pulling on it's tail. I just love our little Jaker so much! He is such a sweet, cuddly baby. He gives the best baby hugs, big tight squeezes, complete with a pat on the back.
